Following Strat, who has fallen in love with the daughter of the despotic Falco, this new musical is a high-octane rock‘n’roll adventure that tears through over 20 of Steinman's songs."

Bat Out of Hell' is a best selling album released in 1977, with over 50 million copies sold. The trilogy was completed in 2006 with 'Bat Out Of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose'.
Jim Steinman collaborated with composer Andrew Lloyd Webber on the musical Whistle Down the Wind in 1996, for which he provided the lyrics. After opening in Washington D.C, it successfully transferred into Aldwych Theatre in 1998. He also wrote the lyrics and produced "No Matter What" for Boyzone. Additionally, he composed the music for the hit European musical Dance of the Vampires (Tanz der Vampire), which transferred from Vienna into Broadway in 2002 starring Michael Crawford.
